    Access Brand Communications is currently looking for a Senior Account Executive to join our growing office. Ideal candidate would have experience working on tech clients that have a focus on b2b.     We are looking for an individual that is not only passionate about emerging tech trends, but also highly motivated and be able to meet deadlines. This position requires strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact with clients, media and account teams.

    About the job

    • Act as primary media contact, play key role in developing and implementing media strategies
    • Be creative and strategic in the development of programs and pitch angels designed to garner media attention
    • Secure high-profile coverage in national business and tech trade outlets including, but not limited to, VentureBeat, CIO.com, Business Insider, TechCrunch, Fortune, Forbes, Fast Co., etc.
    • Work with media including proactive pitching and relationship management.
    • Demonstrate ability to effectively develop full range of written materials including pitches, press releases, byline articles, speeches, briefing sheets, client correspondence and reports
    • Be a hands-on team player adding value, sharing creative ideas, and leveraging media attention as appropriate
    • Develop strategic recommendations with an eye on earned media goals
    • Confidence in working with and accompanying C-suite level clients to media interviews, manage their appearances and contribute appropriately
    • Conduct satellite media tours and editorial desk side briefings between clients and journalists in key media markets; knowledge of TV, radio, and print outlets as well as some knowledge about paid media costs
    • Drive effective implementation of projects, identify appropriate resources, and delegate work appropriately
    • Identify and analyze trends within the tech/corporate tech media landscape, sharing them team and recommending pivot strategies for clients based on these trends

    Qualifications

    • Passion for learning;
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
    • Solid media relations, b2b industry media preferred;
    • 3 to 4 years PR agency experience
    • Strong organizational skills
    • Superior written/oral communications skills
    • Hands-on client interaction/service experience
    • Heavy media relations background, business and trade press contacts a plus IND13
