  • Overview

    Access is currently looking for an Senior Account Executive, Media Relations Specialist to join our New York office supporting media efforts on behalf of 3 accounts. The ideal candidate is someone with a strong background and interest in developing media strategy and execution in addition to day to day account management.  


    • Play a key role in account activities including special events, media events, media relations, social media and briefings
    • Create and manage written materials including status reports, client correspondence
    • Create social media and digital content, editorial calendar management
    • Maintain regular contact with clients; pro-actively offer and implement new ways to meet client deadlines
    • Build understanding and knowledge of the clients' business and their competitive environment; make recommendations
    • Monitor media, flag update, formulation action plans to align with opportunities
    • Assist with the management of event and tour logistics
    • Participate in the new business process; research, preparation and presentations
    • Mentor junior team members on accounts


    • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or related field
    • 3-4 years of experience in public relations, and/or communications required, agency experience preferred
    • Experience working with brand and consumer packaged goods preferred
    • Influencer and media relations skills
    • Experience in developing and implementing social strategies
